Q: Will this work on 07 models?

A: Our TV-3 will work on all fuel injected models.

Q: How hard is this to install?
|
A: Most of the exhaust manufacturers are offering O2 Bungs already installed in their pipes. Terry Components has a "Quick Connect" to all the necessary sensors with instructions making the TV-3 installation Quick and Easy, approximately 30 minutes.

Q: Why only one O2 sensor?
|
A: Currently Harley-Davidson has one throttle body with a common plenum manifold that feeds both cylinder, because Terry Components references the Throttle Position Sensor, one O2 Sensor should be adequate for 06 and earlier models. Our module references both O2 Sensors on the 06 Dyna and all 07 FLH and FLT models.

Q: Warranty on the TV-3 and what happens to Factory Warranty?
|
A: Our module is warrantied for 6 Months. The TV-3 works in conjunction with the Factory Certified ECU and our module is tamper proof. Most Harley-Davidson Dealerships either use our module or honor the Factory Warranty.

Q: What Air Fuel Ratio are we trying to achieve?
|
A: After years of Dyno Testing, Terry Components has calibrated our module at a 14.7 at cruise mode and 13.5 under load.

Q: Where should I weld in the O2 Sensor Bung?
|
A: We recommend the bung be installed 3 to 6 inches from the rear exhaust port.

Q: Do you have to splice wires?
|
A: Terry Components has recently converted all our Harley Davidson TV-3's over to a "Quick Connect" that should cut down the time and make your installation simple.
